Book Synopsis
Lana is reeling after her long-time sugar daddy’s demise in her boudoir. She has become accustomed to a designer and diamond lifestyle. When kicked out of her penthouse, she has nowhere to go except back to her roots in Pittsburgh. Carlene is widowed and at loose ends. Her farm is being sold, her daughter is abroad, and her prospects are bleak.
A little About Me...
The youngest in a family of seven, I had a typical childhood, and with like-minded friends enjoyed bike rides, snake hunts (fortunately we never found any), baseball, and Barbies. My mother already had grandchildren when I was born, which of course made me an aunt at birth. I considered this so cool, and I once proudly told her that she was the oldest mom in my first-grade class.
While I was still knee-high to a grasshopper, an exciting (and less hazardous) passion took hold: love of the written word. From the backs of cereal boxes to the many books, magazines, and three(!) sets of encyclopedias in our home, I read pretty much everything I could get my eyes on.
